Burkina Faso have enjoyed an impressive last decade or so, which has included reaching the semi-finals in two of the last four CAF Africa Cup of Nations tournaments. The Burkinabe’s have, though, since declined but they did manage a solid draw with Senegal in their opening qualifier for the 2025 tournament. They now face a Malawi side that began 2025 CAF Africa Cup of Nations qualification with an entertaining but frustrating 3-2 defeat to Burundi the other day. A low-scoring Burkina Faso victory may well be a good bet for this one after showing signs of much-needed improvement against Senegal.
