Burundi came into CAF Africa Cup of Nations qualification with a bit of a concern because they are in a tough group alongside Burkina Faso and Senegal. It was therefore a perfect start for them to begin with a dramatic and late 3-2 defeat of Malawi. They now face a Senegalese side that have been one of the strongest sides in Africa ever since Aliou Cisse came in as manager all the way back in 2015. Burundi have shown themselves to be quite entertaining so may get after Senegal, especially at home, so whilst Senegal remain the favourites it could be quite fun with both teams scoring seeming a good bet.
