Under the management of former Oud-Heverlee Leuven boss Marc Brys, the Cameroonians head into the September international break on the back of a strong start to his reign. They hammered Cabo Verde by four goals to one in June before then travelling south to share a creditable 1-1 draw in Angola against Pedro Goncalves’ side. They now face a Namibian side that made history by reaching the Round of 16 at the 2023 CAF Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year in their first ever major tournament. That said, whilst they have proven to show heroics, Cameroon should win this one quite comfortably, especially with their home advantage.
