Defending African champions Cote d’Ivoire, who pulled off a miracle to win the tournament that they hosted earlier this year, have started their 2025 AFCON qualification very well under the management of former Reading midfielder Emerse Fae. They defeated both Zambia and Chad during the September international break. They now face a Sierra Leone side that are steady and have improved but they collected just a point last month due to a 3-2 defeat to Zambia in their most recent outing. Cote d’Ivoire are expected to win this one quite comfortably, especially with their home advantage.
