In the 2023 CAF Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year, Cabo Verde actually finished above Egypt in the group stages. However, this one would appear quite different. The seven-time African champions Egypt have had a positive few months and come into this international break with Mohamed Salah in some new found excellent form. Cabo Verde remain strong and have some intriguing attacking players of their own so may well fancy their chances of scoring, even away from home, but Egypt remain the favourites for this one.
