Leslie Notsi’s Lesotho side are currently ranked 149 in the world, according to FIFA. The Crocodiles are arguably the weakest side in the group stages of 2025 CAF Africa Cup of Nations qualifying and they suffered a 3-1 defeat to the Central African Republic in their opening match. In contrast, Morocco have a claim to be the strongest and have already qualified for the tournament as hosts. Despite being hosts, they are still taking part in qualification.
