MATCH PREDICTION

Last season, Brentford endured a difficult campaign with lots of injuries and suspensions across the pitch and they are not quite out of the woods yet. With Ivan Toney still expected to depart, his big money replacement, Igor Thiago, is injured until the New Year whilst both full-backs Aaron Hickey and Rico Henry are yet to return from long-term absences. Crystal Palace were expected and could still lose lots of their first-team squad this summer but, as of now, only Michael Olise has departed for Bayern Munich. Given Palace have the bulk of their strong team intact for now, backing an away win seems a good bet for this one.
