Everton have already been plunged into an early season crisis after a really poor start to the campaign. They were beaten by three goals to nil on the opening day of the season by Brighton and Hove Albion at Goodison Park before then being hammered 4-0 by Tottenham Hotspur in London last weekend. AFC Bournemouth have started their campaign with back-to-back 1-1 draws against Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United. The Cherries were hammered by Everton in Liverpool last season and Sean Dyche’s response to criticism last week, the exit of Neal Maupay and morale boosting win over Doncaster Rovers in the EFL Cup in midweek has slightly lifted the mood so siding with the hosts may well actually be a good value bet for this one.
