MATCH PREDICTION
Everton’s performances have improved as the season has gone on but the Toffees, buoyed by the confirmation that Blue Holdings and the Friedkin Group have agreed a deal to take over the club pending ratification, have collected just one point from their opening five matches after twice throwing away two-goal leads and then being pegged back by Leicester City last weekend, too. They now face a Crystal Palace side that, under the management of Oliver Glasner, do themselves remain winless but the Eagles will feel frustrated to have drawn with Manchester United last week and did also pick up a good point at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea a few weeks ago. Goodison has already seen three defeats across all competitions this season and it would not be a major surprise to see Palace turn up and win with that being the value bet.
