The winners of Group D will head into the bottom-half of the knockout stage draw and it has to be said that it is the kinder section with the likes of Germany, Spain and Portugal all in the top-half. The Netherlands were denied victory against France due to a VAR controversy on Friday but Oranje still have a chance if they can better France’s result and scoreline against Austria. Austria, though, know France failing to defeat Poland opens up the chance for them to progress as group winners if they defeat the Dutch. Austria have played some of the better football at the tournament and hammered Poland by three goals to one on Friday. It should be quite an entertaining and open affair in which both teams scoring seems a good bet.
